Saipan Airport Trash Incinerator
A diesel fuel tank used to supply the airports incinerator was clogged with sludge. The tank was cleaned and new fuel lines installed with a fuel filter system. The blowers, ignition system and fuel pumps all needed repair or replacement.
A top end overhaul for Sky Chef’s 500 kw Caterpillar included replacement of the cylinder packs, bearings, crankshaft seals and head. The alternator was removed, cleaned, sealed and meggered. A Seafix 500 kw rental generator was used as a backup during the overhaul period.

Department of Public Safety’s Police Boat
Due to rusted oil pans, the twin Volvo Penta engines were removed with the assistance of Seafix’s boomtruck. New oil pans were installed. Both engines were derusted and painted.

The customer found heavy wear metal in their oil samples. The oil pump gear drive pin had spun loose and caused wear metal to be excessive. The original rear crankshaft oil seal created a groove where it touched the crank. A new wear sleeve was installed and all the bearings were replaced.
Maintenance Contracts and New Installations
Many customers require Bi-monthly, monthly or quarterly inspection / service of their equipment. We offer complete installation packages for generator installations. Service area includes Saipan, Tinian and Rota. Seafix services up to 2000kw generator sets of any brand.
A US Submarine transformer sits dockside throughout the year. It is connected to the submarine to supply shore power. A typhoon hit Saipan and caused rain to enter the dry type 1500 KVA transformer. Seafix assisted the military in its replacement and maintains the unit regularly.

US Navy Submarine Assistance and Line Handling
Upon arrival of a Submarine into Saipan, the unit requires shore power, line handling, and fender placement. Often repairs are needed and Seafix provides a wide variety of services and assistance.
